A showcase of short Russian films will take place today and tomorrow in East Sarajevo, as part of the cooperation between the Cinematheque of Republika Srpska and the State Institute for Film and Television from Saint Petersburg.
The screenings will be held in the chamber hall of the Academy of Music at the University of East Sarajevo, the Cinematheque of Republika Srpska announced.
The two-day program will feature nine films created by students of the Institute—four films on the first evening and five on the second. The selection includes fiction, documentary, and animated works.
Special guests of the Cinematheque include Institute professor Oksana Laricheva and students Polina Moiseeva and Elizaveta Tolkach.
The event will be officially opened this evening at 6:00 PM, followed by film screenings.
