Entrepreneurs from Republika Srpska are participating in the 92nd International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad, which is being held from today until May 22.

More than 1,000 exhibitors from 40 countries will be showcased at the fair.

At a joint exhibition stand, participants from Banja Luka, Trebinje, Bileća, as well as representatives from Petrovac, Visoko, Mostar, and the Brčko District, will present their agricultural products and innovations.

The International Agricultural Fair is the largest fair event in Serbia and one of the most prominent in Europe in the field of agriculture.

Republika Srpska must develop ready-to-consume agricultural products in order to more easily place them on both domestic and international markets, said Savo Minić, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management of Republika Srpska, speaking in Novi Sad.

“Every product that is prepared in this way generates added value, contributes to GDP, and supports the development of a strong and sustainable economy,” stated Minić.

He also used the opportunity to hold talks with Serbia’s Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management, Dragan Glamočić, emphasizing the importance of milk exports to Serbia.

“We discussed, and will continue to discuss, what our agricultural producers can offer as final products for export,” Minić concluded.
