President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Nenad Stevandić, stated that it is of great importance for Srpska that its institutions serve as a place where the activities of all Serbs from the region are affirmed and reaffirmed.
He emphasized that Republika Srpska stands firmly for stability.
“Republika Srpska has demonstrated an unbreakable and unwavering spirit, and we remain committed to that,” Stevandić said during his address at the 21st Conference of Serb National Organizations from the region.
“We will continue to stand firm every day, every step of the way,” he affirmed.
Stevandić noted that efforts to isolate Republika Srpska have failed and that it is now in a crucial phase of its struggle for survival, which is why the support from the Conference’s members is so significant.
“If we feel unity and solidarity, then our unbreakable spirit can take deeper root among the people,” Stevandić said.
The Conference of Serb National Organizations from the Region includes the Permanent Delegation of the Union of Serbs of Romania, the Self-Government of Serbs in Hungary, the National Council of Serbs in Slovenia, the Serb National Council of Croatia, the Joint Council of Municipalities of Vukovar (Croatia), and the Association of Serbs of Croatia.
It also includes the Association Founders of Republika Srpska, the Committee for the Protection of Serbs in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Coordinating Committee of Serbs in Mostar, the political movement The Choice is Ours, the National Council of Serbs of North Macedonia, the Serbo-Montenegrin Society Morača–Rozafa from Albania, and the Serb National Council of Montenegro, according to a statement from the National Assembly of Republika Srpska.
