Republika Srpska is a stable place to live and it will remain so – said the Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, Siniša Karan, at a press conference in the Administrative Center in East Sarajevo.
“The citizens are calm and at peace. Peace is the priority in Republika Srpska. The Ministry of Internal Affairs will carry out its constitutional duties,” Karan emphasized, reiterating that Srpska remains a stable place for living.
He stressed that peace is the highest value and that the Ministry is the guarantor of peace for all citizens, regardless of religion or nationality. It also guarantees the constitutional and legal position of Srpska, its defense, and the work of its institutions: the President, the National Assembly, and the Government.
He stated that the institutions are the most important element in defending Srpska.
“For 30 years, Republika Srpska has been under continuous attack. Now they are trying to deal the final blow to BiH – and this is being done by Christian Schmidt, the unconstitutional Court of BiH, and the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH,” Karan concluded.
He emphasized that the institutions of Republika Srpska have found ways to defend themselves – to protect the constitutional, political, and overall security order of Srpska.
Karan added that the National Assembly of Srpska has adopted a series of laws that have blocked the unconstitutional actions of anti-Dayton institutions, above all the actions of Schmidt, the unconstitutional Court, the Prosecutor’s Office, and SIPA.
He said that those who entered the territory of Republika Srpska tonight violated its laws and reminded that these laws have annulled and banned the operation of the unconstitutional Prosecutor’s Office, Court of BiH, and SIPA in Srpska.
“We will initiate the necessary procedures, and I call on the Prosecutor’s Office of Srpska to launch criminal proceedings against those who violated the laws of Srpska,” Karan emphasized.
To recall, SIPA inspectors were present in front of the Administrative Center of the Government of Srpska in East Sarajevo, where a meeting was held between the President of Srpska, Milorad Dodik, the mayors of the municipalities of East Sarajevo, and the city mayor. The police of Srpska removed the inspectors.
