President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, addressed the media at a press conference held at the Administrative Center in East Sarajevo, stating:
This is Republika Srpska, and SIPA has violated the law.
I feel good and safe. I have no intention of leaving this building under any kind of pressure.
He emphasized that SIPA has no authority:
Outside the building tonight was the brother of Kemal Ademović, who was the wartime head of AID. This is not territory where the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina exercise power — Dodik said.
He also reiterated that Christian Schmidt will be held accountable for falsely presenting himself as a high representative.
Dodik pointed out that 49 percent of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s territory belongs to Republika Srpska, while SIPA functions as a Muslim enclave from the Sarajevo valley.
He stressed that the Police of Republika Srpska will not back down from defending its institutions and the Constitution, adding that Sarajevo continues to deepen the political crisis through lies, but will not succeed in provoking escalation. Does anyone really believe that a police force tasked with protecting institutions will yield to an occupying force called SIPA, the Court, the Prosecutor’s Office, and Schmidt? Whoever believes that is a fool — Dodik stated.
He concluded that the police of Republika Srpska will not retreat in the face of unconstitutional institutions.
