The footballers of Banja Luka’s Borac defeated Sarajevo 1–0 at Koševo Stadium in the first leg of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup semifinal.
Borac played an excellent match and secured a well-deserved victory. The only goal was scored by Amer Hiroš in the 30th minute.
This win sets the stage perfectly for Borac ahead of their league derby clash against Zrinjski in Mostar on Sunday.
In the other semifinal, Široki Brijeg convincingly beat Željezničar 3–0.
The return legs of the BiH Cup semifinals are scheduled to take place in 14 days.
