The clash of Western EU–US values has escalated since Donald Trump came to power, and that escalation is being felt on our backs—but sovereignist forces within the EU are waking up faster and exposing the abuses of the judiciary, stated Nenad Stevandić, President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska and United Srpska, on the social media platform X.
“With Trump’s victory, the anarcho-liberal left in the EU has gone mad—and we Serbs, together with Hungarians, Slovaks, but also Romanians and Italians, have become the first targets,” Stevandić wrote.
“Serb love of freedom, combined with our greater intellect and historical memory, currently makes us a bigger target—just like in 1915 and 1941—but that will also make us a greater victor, as in 1918 and 1945. That bothers some. A small group of semi-intellectual ‘leeches’ hooked on USAID donations, together with an even smaller group of opportunistic, Bosniak-leaning (once they converted to Islam from behind) politicians—statistically insignificant—will not prevent Republika Srpska from prevailing, nor will the mad, offensive, and dangerous witch hunt coming from FBiH–BiH,” Stevandić stated.
He continued by saying that “we, who are being targeted—both physically and legally—do not have the luxury, nor the right, to avoid using our intelligence and intellectual superiority, no matter how sharp the blade pointed against us may be.”
“Hyenas, ravens, so-called opponents and critics have never won battles, nor earned monuments, no matter how loud they are or how powerful their sponsors may be. History is relentless—and it’s being written right now. Republika Srpska is stronger,” Stevandić concluded.
