Karateka Sara Kovačević and kickboxer Pavle Oljača have been named the best athletes of Novi Grad for 2024.
Sara’s club, Karate Club Rajko Crnobrnja Gligo, has been recognized as the best sports club in Novi Grad for the past year, while the best coach award went to Dejan Kukavica, head coach of Basketball Club Sloboda 73.
The city on the Una and Sana rivers has not forgotten its young athletes nor clubs celebrating anniversaries. The karate club marks its 50th anniversary, while Football Club Sloboda celebrates 115 years of existence.
