The Tourism Organization of Republika Srpska will participate in the 35th International Tourism Fair “Natour Alpe-Adria,” starting tomorrow in Ljubljana and lasting until February 1, according to the organization.

The fair is particularly designed for nature enthusiasts and those who appreciate natural values and activities, as well as for anyone interested in adventure tourism, stated Sanela Šimun, Public Relations Associate at the Tourism Organization of Republika Srpska.

The Tourism Organization of Republika Srpska will have its own exhibition space, highlighting adventure tourism offerings, including rafting, canyoning, hiking, cycling, Mount Jahorina, the Kozara and Sutjeska National Parks, the Pecka Visitor Center, and the Eco Zone Šipovo.

  • “At the TORS stand, the attractive programs for enjoying Srpska will also be presented by the Tourism Organizations of Foča, Zvornik, Novi Grad, Nevesinje, and Srebrenica; the Olympic Center Jahorina; Terme Ozren; travel agencies Zepter and Unis; as well as hotels Integra and Marriott Banja Luka,” said Šimun.

She added that special emphasis will be placed on festival offerings, as well as city-break destinations, religious tourism, and spa tourism.

“Given the significant number of visitors from Slovenia who travel to Republika Srpska, this promotion is crucial for increasing tourist activity,” Šimun noted.

She highlighted that tourists from Slovenia have consistently ranked among the top in terms of overnight stays and visits by foreign guests. Last year, they ranked third with 82,458 overnight stays.
