The youngest residents of Banja Luka will traditionally be the first to welcome the New Year with a rich program scheduled for December 31 in “Petar Kočić” Park. The festivities will begin at 11:00 AM at the Music Pavilion.
The organizers have prepared a diverse program tailored for children and their families, featuring performances by the Children’s Choir “Vrapčići,” Đurđevdan Stars, the choir “Mali Princ,” as well as participants of the festivals “Little Composer” and “Children’s Kingdom.” Additionally, the audience will be entertained by DIS Theater, Dance Studio “Gema,” “Ježurko,” and many other performers. The central moment of the celebration will be the ceremonial countdown to noon with Santa Claus, marking a symbolic entry into the children’s New Year.
From the Children’s Choir “Vrapčići,” which is organizing this event in collaboration with the City, they stated:
– Our goal is for the youngest residents to remember this celebration as a special and joyful event. We strive to provide a cheerful and warm atmosphere where they can enjoy together with their families.
We invite all children and their parents to join us in this festive celebration, which has become a beloved tradition in our city.
