Research associate at the Center for Socio-Political Research of Republika Srpska, Neven Đenadija, is participating in the International Scientific Symposium “Creating the Future” in Moscow, which was opened today by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
Đenadija, a doctoral candidate at the prestigious Moscow State Institute of International Relations, told Srna that he spoke today about how artificial intelligence (AI) will impact society in the future, emphasizing the need for governmental and national development programs focused on AI literacy and integrating AI studies into school curricula.
“In the past, there was a struggle to access information, but today, the challenge is finding accurate and useful information in an ocean of data, indicating that we are already living in a post-information age,” said Đenadija, who presented at the panel “Post-Information Society.”
Đenadija will continue his participation in the symposium on Wednesday, November 6, with a presentation on the panel “The Future of Digital International Relations.”
The event hosts 3,000 participants from 101 countries, including representatives from administration and industry, scientists and engineers, futurists and forecasters, public figures, and representatives of creative industries from BRICS, SCO, CIS countries, and others.
The International Scientific Symposium at the National Center “Russia” in Moscow serves as a high-level platform for dialogue on the future of the emerging new world order.
The four key areas under discussion are the future of civilizations, the future of a multipolar world, the future of humanity, and the future of technology.
The event is organized by the newly formed National Center “Russia” in collaboration with various Russian ministries and a range of Russian government organizations, associations, societies, and movements across all fields of scientific and social creation, including Roscosmos, Rosatom, the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Russian Science Foundation, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, the Union of Architects of Russia, and others.
