President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, sent a telegram of condolence on the passing of Yehuda Bauer, one of the world’s leading authorities on the Holocaust and genocide in general.
“With great sorrow, I received the news of the passing of Yehuda Bauer, one of the greatest authorities in the study of genocide. His courageous statements, based on historical and scientific sources, that a crime occurred in Srebrenica, but not genocide, resonate both in the present and in the times to come. My sincere condolences to his family, and to all truth-seeking people in the world,” Dodik stated on X.
He added that we have lost a powerful and exceptional voice that carried the truth.
