An event that connects tradition and tourism

The economic-tourism event Dan drvarske drenjine (Day of Drvar’s Cornelian Cherry) is being held in Drvar, where visitors have the opportunity to see the traditional process of making rakija (brandy) from Cornelian cherries, a specialty for which this municipality in Western Krajina is well known.

According to the Municipal Administration, this is the 23rd edition of the Dan drvarske drenjine, and it is becoming increasingly popular each year, attracting a growing number of visitors from the country and the region.

The event, also known as Drenjijada, takes place within the 25th May Memorial Complex, beneath Tito’s Cave.
