Former Counterintelligence Service officer Ljuban Karan stated that the Intelligence-Security Agency (OBA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina is ripe for a complete overhaul, emphasizing that the agency should represent Serbs, Bosniaks, and Croats equally.
“If that’s not the case, then each entity should have its own agency to protect itself,” Karan said in a statement for Srna.
President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik previously revealed in a podcast with Srna that he had information indicating that OBA had planned the assassination of both him and Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić. Dodik claimed that such actions are typical for Sarajevo when dealing with those who do not share the political views of the Bosniak leadership.
“The agency was instrumentalized to the point where Osman Mehmedagić (Osmica) created an operational plan to eliminate me, Vučić, and others who oppose Bosniak interests,” Dodik stated.
