The so-called political Sarajevo is truly unbelievable, wrote the President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Nenad Stevandić, on his X account.
- “It seems that they alone have not understood the CIA chief’s messages regarding the need to de-escalate the situation in BiH and the region, and the responsibility of everyone in that process to preserve peace. They simply use everything as a means to conflict with Republika Srpska and to demonize its leadership, trying to act as spokespersons for the CIA, paraphrasing or even openly lying about the topics of the visit,” Stevandić stated.
Stevandić assessed that “Republika Srpska’s costly and very rational neutrality seems to be more understandable to the CIA chief, but it remains a thorn in the side of political Sarajevo.”
- “Pandering to the U.S. with hatred towards Russia and betraying Srpska in that direction is truly pathetic and low. They may enjoy it, but it does not build a future or sovereignty for BiH. Terrorists are not their topic because they sweep it under the rug. Will they ever learn what coexistence and respect mean, and what balance between unitarism and consequent separatism is? No, they won’t! Perhaps the CIA chief will explain it to them next time, and they will obediently tie their horse where their master says. Until then, it’s misery for all of us and them,” Stevandić concluded.
