The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, chaired the Organizing Committee for the upcoming European Boxing Championship for Cadets, which will take place from August 3 to 11 in Banjaluka. The championship will be officially opened on August 5.
Dodik stated that Banjaluka, long recognized as a city of sports, along with Republika Srpska, will be excellent hosts for this major sporting event. He emphasized that the Organizing Committee has finalized all the necessary activities to prepare for and host the European Championship, which will gather over 600 athletes from across Europe.
The President expressed his satisfaction in being the patron of such a significant and large sporting event, highlighting that Republika Srpska is committed to recognizing sports talents and providing them with the best possible environment for development.
Recalling the illustrious history of the Slavija Boxing Club, Dodik thanked the club’s leadership for their contribution to the growth of this combat sport in Republika Srpska.
