Stevandić: The All-Serb Assembly is writing the pages of Serb history

The President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Nenad Stevandić, stated today, speaking about the upcoming All-Serbian Assembly in Belgrade, that it is writing the pages of Serbian history in a beautiful way.

He also emphasized that the administrative lines between Serbia and Republika Srpska no longer concern him.

“We met on the bridge at Sremska Rača, which connects the shores and the people, because the border no longer exists; they are administrative, and we are one people,” he said on TV Pink, recalling that earlier today, at the bridge at Sremska Rača, Serb Prime Minister Miloš Vučević and National Assembly President Ana Brnabić, alongside him, welcomed Republika Srpska Prime Minister Radovan Višković and the Serbian member of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović.

Stevandić added that all of this essentially represents the formalization of Serbian unity, and he announced a large number of agreements.

“We are proud of the parliamentary forum that will be held twice a year, as it enhances our relations, and I am happy that it is happening peacefully, despite the ongoing wars in the world. We advocate for peace and cooperation, which is the best way to write history, unlike the often ugly history written in the Balkans,” he emphasized.

Stevandić also noted that this unity is not just for one day but that there are numerous planned projects for the future.

“Such signing of agreements does not happen when the state is weak, and this is proof of how much Serbia has strengthened. I must emphasize that there is no city in Republika Srpska that has a kindergarten, school, or anything else that Serbia has not helped with,” Stevandić pointed out.

According to him, Serbia has become a leader in many areas.

“In addition to Putin and the President of China, we now have Aleksandar Vučić, who stood up even to Germany,” said the President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska.

He noted that it is also a historic event that all members of the Republika Srpska assembly have been invited to the National Assembly of Serbia.

He announced that at least 8,000 people from Republika Srpska will come to the All-Serb Assembly in Belgrade tomorrow but also emphasized that some institutions have already begun to create joint projects that will be identical in Banja Luka and Belgrade.

“We have initiated a significant undertaking, and we can be proud of it,” Stevandić said.

He also recalled the time when September 15 was established as the Day of Serbian Unity, Flag, and Freedom and that it is jointly celebrated in Republika Srpska and Serbia.

“Besides that, before 2012, we very timidly remembered our victims, but then we began to jointly commemorate ‘Operation Storm’ and other pogroms, which is another important phase initiated by Aleksandar Vučić,” Stevandić recalled.

The President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska hinted that all of this will be valorized through a declaration, and that this process will bring conclusions both retrospectively and in the future every year.
