Vranješ: More Children Perished in Gaza in Six Months Than Victims at Srebrenica

The Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Serbia, Aleksandar Vranješ, stated that the resolution on Srebrenica, which is being prepared for adoption at the UN General Assembly, is a spectacle for the Islamic world intended to divert global attention from the fact that in six months, more children under the age of 14 died in Gaza than the total number of Bosniak victims at Srebrenica during the civil war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Vranješ emphasized that international co-sponsors, who swear by the sovereignty of Dayton’s Bosnia and Herzegovina, know that the Srebrenica resolution does not have the support of the BiH Presidency, the sole institution responsible for BiH’s foreign policy, but this does not deter their intentions to show the Islamic world their respect for Muslim victims from nearly three decades ago, while they disregard more recent victims.

“When we look at who the initiators and drafters of the future Srebrenica resolution are, it is noticeable that only BiH among them does not have a formulated position on it. All heads of UN member state missions supporting the draft resolution have official instructions from their headquarters to vote for this resolution, except for /BiH Ambassador at the Permanent Mission to the UN Zlatko/ Lagumdžija from BiH,” highlighted Vranješ.

According to him, Lagumdžija does not have official approval from the BiH Presidency but is participating in a significant international farce with the consent of the Bosniak member of the Presidency, Denis Bećirović.

“At a time of turmoil in the Middle East with massive civilian casualties among the Muslim world, a state that has committed genocide with a capital G in the history of civilization, namely Germany, with the help of completely irrelevant Rwanda, at the request of their Anglo-Saxon bosses, is resurrecting the tragic event of Srebrenica,” Vranješ emphasized.

He noted that the tragic fact in the Middle East will not be covered by a UN resolution, because for the collective West it is not relevant, but by adopting a resolution on Srebrenica, they would show the entire world that they, as the collective West, are not Islamophobes but rather, very empathetic friends of the Balkan Muslims.

“Representatives of political Sarajevo have no moral dilemmas about becoming puppets in this spectacle made for the audience in the Islamic world. On the contrary, they readily accepted to once again play the role of victims for the needs of the USA,” concluded Vranješ.

The Bosniak part of the BiH mission at the UN unilaterally, without a decision from the BiH Presidency and with the sponsorship of some Western countries, initiated the adoption of a new resolution on Srebrenica at the UN General Assembly. Previously, nine years ago, Russia vetoed a British resolution on Srebrenica at the UN Security Council.

The Independent International Commission for the Investigation of the Suffering of All Peoples in the Srebrenica Region from 1992 to 1995 concluded that no individual crime of genocide nor genocide in general occurred in Srebrenica. The commission, consisting of 10 world experts, concluded that the Serbs never had such a plan neither in Srebrenica nor anywhere else.
