A delegation from the Hungarian Government, along with Hungarian businessmen, is set to arrive tonight for a two-day visit to Republika Srpska.
President Milorad Dodik will welcome Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán at the Mahovljani International Airport.
The arrival of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Péter Szijjártó, who will be greeted by Prime Minister Radovan Višković, is also scheduled beforehand.
On the second day of the visit, a reception in front of the Palace of Republika Srpska is planned, followed by a one-on-one meeting between President Dodik and Orbán.
Meetings are anticipated at the Palace of Republika, including discussions between BiH’s Serb member of the Presidency Željka Cvijanović and the Minister of Science, Technology Development, and Higher Education Željko Budimir with Szijjártó, as well as a meeting between Prime Minister Višković and Minister of Finance Zora Vidović with the Hungarian Minister of Economic Development Márton Nagy.
The ceremonial awarding of decorations to Orbán is also planned. On the occasion of Republika Srpska Day – January 9, Dodik awarded Orbán with the Order of Republika Srpska on a sash.
Additionally, a meeting between the delegations of Republika Srpska and Hungary at the Government of Republika Srpska and the opening of the Economic Forum are scheduled.
