The National Theater of the Republika Srpska was included in the competition program of Sterija’s Theater, which was highlighted in the just published selection. The play “Little wars and the cabins of Zara”, written by Vida Davidović, directed by Ivica Buljan, will participate in this part of the eminent festival. The play is based on the original dramatic text of a young author who received the Sterija Theater award two years ago.
This fact, according to the festival selector Ana Tasić, should be understood as an affirmation of Serb drama and a confirmation of the mission of Sterija Theater to promote domestic dramaturgy beyond the borders of our country. “Little Wars and the Cabins of Zara”, the play that premiered on March 15, will begin its, we hope, very long and rich journey through the world of theater festivals.
