The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Radovan Višković, discussed today in Banja Luka with the regional director for Southeast Europe of the company “Azvirt,” Murat Turkoglu.
The meeting focused on the electrification and modernization of the railway section Doboj-Tuzla-Zvornik.
This project involves the modernization and electrification of the railway, for which the governments of Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH have allocated funds.
The company Azvirt, as well as its subsidiary companies, expressed interest in the modernization and electrification of the Doboj-Tuzla-Zvornik railway, and expert teams will, in the future period, examine all technical and other specifics of this job.
Following the proposals of the expert teams, a joint meeting will be organized at which company representatives will discuss with the competent ministries and representatives of the railways of Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH, announced the Government of Srpska.
