Đuragic said that the Representation, as in previous years, has been and will be a service to the institutions of the Republic of Srpska in Brussels and its representatives.
He emphasized that the Representation worked and will work on presenting the Republic of Srpska as a credible partner in political and economic processes, as well as other forms of international cooperation.
“In that sense, all activities are equally important, and I would not prioritize one over the other,” Đuragic emphasized.
Speaking about Brussels’ attitude towards Srpska, he noted that there are certain conditions set for the Serb.
“It is very simple. Pressure on Serb and the Republic of Srpska from the West, and therefore Brussels, could be reduced as soon as we decide to impose sanctions on Russia, recognize Kosovo and Metohija as an independent state, take all the blame for the wars of the 1990s in the former Yugoslavia, agree to the centralization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and implement a few more requests that will arise along the way. Do you know anyone who is willing to do that, and would the citizens of the Republic of Srpska accept it?” Đuragić asked.
Until then, Duragic stated, it is not realistic to expect significant changes in the relationship towards the Republic of Srpska.
