“Serb Member of the Presidency of BiH, Željka Cvijanović, has urged the competent institutions to swiftly bring the attackers of Serb returnee Ljeposava Petković from Vozuća to justice, emphasizing that this attack is just one in a series of evidence showcasing the challenging situation of Serb returnees in the territory of the Federation of BiH.
Cvijanović strongly condemned this vandalistic act, reminding that this is the third attack on the 77-year-old woman and her property in the last two years.
Her safety has been persistently jeopardized, requiring an urgent response from all competent institutions Cvijanović warned.
She called on the relevant institutions to swiftly bring the perpetrators to justice and finally ensure Petković’s peaceful and secure life, as stated by the Office of the Serbian Member of the Presidency of BiH.
Serb returnee Ljeposava Petković (77) in Stošnica near Vozuća in the Federation of BiH was assaulted last night in her family home after two individuals broke into her house with an axe and threatened to kill her.”
