The decision of the Constitutional Court of Srpska that the National Assembly of Srpska and the President of Srpska did not violate the Constitution is the only possible and correct one, said Igor Žunić, head of the parliamentary club in the National Assembly of Srpska. He emphasized that the Parliament of Srpska independently makes decisions.
To recall, the Constitutional Court of Republika Srpska determined that the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, by adopting and submitting the law for proclamation and its publication in the Official Gazette of Republika Srpska, and the President of Republika Srpska, by issuing decrees, did not violate the established procedure for enacting laws according to the Constitution of Republika Srpska. Hence, the Court assessed that the contested laws, concerning the procedure of their enactment, are in accordance with the Constitution of Republika Srpska.”
