The municipality of Rudo in Republika Srpska has established a partnership with the Russian city of Rasskazovo, located in the Tambov Region, through the signing of an Agreement on the Establishment of Friendly Relations.
The agreement was signed by Rasskazovo Mayor Vera Sokolova and Rudo Municipality Mayor Dragoljub Bogdanović, with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo and the Representative Office of Republika Srpska in the Russian Federation.
Cooperation in culture, education and local governance
The agreement provides a foundation for establishing direct cooperation between the two local communities, exchanging experiences in local self-government and implementing joint activities in culture, education, humanitarian work and community life.
Strengthening ties between Republika Srpska and Russia
The partnership between Rudo and Rasskazovo opens new opportunities to strengthen ties between Republika Srpska and Russia’s Tambov Region.
It also aims to develop friendly relations through direct cooperation between their local communities.
