The President of the Republika Srpska, Siniša Karan, met today in Banja Luka with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Igor Kalabukhov.
During the meeting, Karan briefed the Russian ambassador on current political and economic issues of importance to the Republika Srpska.
Karan emphasized that the Republika Srpska maintains a strategic partnership with the Russian Federation, founded on the longstanding friendship between the Serbian and Russian peoples.
He also expressed confidence that cooperation between the Republika Srpska and the Russian Federation will continue to develop and strengthen in the coming period.
