The 14th Trebinje Film Festival will open tomorrow with the presentation of the Golden Plane Tree Award, recognizing outstanding contributions to European and Mediterranean cinema, festival organizers announced.
Held under the slogan “The Doors Remain Open,” this year’s festival will officially begin with an opening ceremony in Trebinje’s Old Town.
The 2026 recipients of the Golden Plane Tree Award are actors Radivoje “Raša” Bukvić and Zlatan Vidović, in recognition of their contributions to European and Mediterranean film.
Over the course of six festival evenings, audiences will have the opportunity to watch more than 30 films screened at five venues across the city.
Admission to all festival events and screenings will be free of charge.
