Russia hopes that the rights of Republika Srpska will be guaranteed, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has stated.
“Republika Srpska and Belgrade are capable of protecting their rights within the existing system. We hope and believe that the rights of Republika Srpska must be guaranteed,” Peskov told reporters.
He stressed that those rights “must under no circumstances be diluted or undermined, as that would be unacceptable.”
The Kremlin spokesman made the remarks while responding to a question about the possible impact of the European integration process, including issues considered particularly sensitive for both Belgrade and Republika Srpska.
