A photography exhibition titled “Through Mount Javor 5” opened this evening at the Cultural Center in Han Pijesak, featuring 90 photographs.
The Youth and Sports Center “Pogled” announced that the call for submissions was published in January, with 150 photographs submitted by 12 authors.
The first “Through Mount Javor” exhibition was launched in 2021 with the aim of preserving, through photography, the natural beauty, customs and traditional crafts that form the identity of the region.
“Today, five years later, the exhibition represents a valuable collection of more than 500 photographs, serving as a unique testimony to the rich natural and cultural heritage of Mount Javor,” the Center stated.
The organizers also expressed satisfaction that a number of photographs from previous exhibitions now decorate the premises of the newly opened nursing home in Han Pijesak.
The exhibition will remain open to visitors until the end of July and can be viewed on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
