Cvijanović: There is neither rule of law nor freedom of speech in BiH – full support for Jasenko Todorović

Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željka Cvijanović expressed her full support for Radio Television of Republika Srpska journalist Jasenko Todorović, who was questioned by the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), stating that Bosnia and Herzegovina has neither law, democracy, rule of law, nor freedom of speech, public scrutiny, or debate.

“It is high time that, instead of persecuting free expression, Bosnia and Herzegovina finally re-examines and removes the consequences of harmful colonial, undemocratic and unlawful tutelage that suppresses sovereignty and democratic processes,” Cvijanović wrote on the social network X.

Journalist Jasenko Todorović was questioned today at the SIPA office in Banja Luka after being reported over statements made during the television programme Drugi ugao, broadcast more than a year ago, in which, according to the complaint, the genocide in Srebrenica was denied.
