European summit on economy and security opens in Banja Luka

The first European Summit on Economy and Security has officially opened in Banja Luka, organized by the Gold Institute for International Cooperation and chaired by Michael Flynn, retired American general and former national security adviser to Donald Trump.

A ceremonial reception and working dinner marked the opening of the summit, with guests welcomed by Siniša Karan.

More than 100 participants from 20 countries have gathered in Banja Luka, including prominent figures from politics, security, diplomacy and business circles from both the United States and Europe.

During the opening ceremony, addresses are expected from Eli Gold and Ana Trišić Babić.

General Flynn will speak about the future of transatlantic security in a multipolar world, while Željka Cvijanović is expected to present the diplomatic and economic vision of Republika Srpska.

Savo Minić will participate in the closing session focused on shaping the framework for continued transatlantic dialogue with the Balkans.

According to organizers, Milorad Dodik is also expected to meet summit participants tomorrow after returning from Moscow.

The summit also marked the opening of the European office of the Gold Institute for International Strategy in Banja Luka, making the city the first European representative office of the Washington-based organization.
