“Visits by the Republika Srpska delegation to Israel and Hungary mean a great deal, because we informed our friends that an institutional attack is being carried out against Republika Srpska,” Željko Budimir, Minister of the Interior and professor of international relations, told RTRS.
“‘Above all, this is an attack through institutions at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina, resulting in the undermining of the Dayton Peace Agreement, the destabilization of Republika Srpska, and the maximum abuse of one people acting against a constituent people—the Serb people,’ Budimir said.”
“He emphasized that Israel occupies a particularly important place.”
“‘It has not been seen for a long time that a Srpska delegation held meetings in the Knesset, followed by meetings with the president and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, where clear messages were sent showing understanding of the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina,’ Budimir stated.”
“He also stressed that Hungary continues to support Srpska.”
“‘Hungary continues to provide us with full support within the European Union. This is extremely important for us, so that our voice within the European Union can be heard more clearly, and bilateral cooperation is at its peak,’ Budimir said.”
“He noted that the goal of the upcoming visit of SNSD leader Milorad Dodik to the United States is also to inform friends and partners about the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.”
“‘That the Dayton Agreement is being constantly violated and undermined, and that there is virtually no regard for the Constitution or the law,’ Budimir said.”
“He emphasized that this is why a diplomatic offensive is essential.”
“‘And to show that we are internationalizing the issues and processes taking place in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the period ahead,’ Budimir concluded.”
