Radovan Kovačević, the Serb delegate to the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, said that he attended yesterday’s official bilateral meeting between SNSD leader Milorad Dodik and Acting President of Republika Srpska Ana Trivić Babić with Israeli President Isaac Herzog, during which deep mutual respect between Republika Srpska and Israel was clearly expressed.
Kovačević noted that the fact President Herzog addressed Dodik as “my dear friend and a friend of the State of Israel,” adding that Israel never forgets its friends, speaks for itself.
“Rarely does anyone in the world understand Republika Srpska so deeply and sincerely, and stand ready to help it on every level, as Israel does. This is clearly reflected in the program of this visit, which is being conducted at the highest possible level,” Kovačević wrote on X.
He added that he personally had the opportunity to respond to direct questions from President Herzog regarding the relationship between Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Minister of Defense Zukan Helez, political Sarajevo, and Tehran, the Muslim Brotherhood, and Ankara.
Kovačević is staying in Israel on a multi-day visit together with Acting President of Republika Srpska Ana Trivić Babić and SNSD leader Milorad Dodik.
