The Banja Luka Tourist Organization won third place at the 7th International Marketing Competition in Tourism, “Probrand-2025,” held in Moscow, where more than 300 projects competed.
“The Banja Luka Tourist Organization was the only international project in the final, as well as the first representative from the Balkans since the competition was established, which represents an exceptional promotional and diplomatic achievement for the city,” said Minja Šurlan, acting director of the Banja Luka Tourist Organization.
She added that the award came as a result of the dedication and work of the Tourist Organization.
The city’s Tourist Organization project was recognized in the category of tourism product promotion, confirming the quality of its strategic approach, the authenticity of the tourism offer, and modern communication of the tourism identity.
“In Banja Luka, we recorded an increase in arrivals and overnight stays compared to the previous year. Our goal is for the coming year to be equally successful,” Šurlan said while appearing on the RTRS Morning Program.
All of this is very important in the process of improving the overall situation in tourism, because tourism may be the most promising economic sector, but one that requires continuous and serious investment.
