The gross domestic product (GDP) of Republika Srpska from 2020 to 2024 recorded growth from 11.13 billion KM in 2020 to 17.2 billion KM last year, according to the bulletin of the Republika Srpska Institute of Statistics, National Accounts.
During this period, GDP per capita also increased, amounting to 9,797 KM or USD 5,707 in 2020, and 15,494 KM or USD 8,572 last year.
The real GDP growth rate in 2020, during the coronavirus pandemic, had a negative value of minus 2.5 percent, marking a decline compared to 2019.
In the other years of the 2020–2024 period, real growth rates were positive, reaching 3.1 percent last year.
Over the same period, gross value added increased from 9.26 billion KM in 2020 to 14.06 billion KM last year.
