Staša Košarac, deputy chair of the Council of Ministers, stated that the Office of the High Representative must inevitably be shut down and that Christian Schmidt must leave BiH as soon as possible if the country is to have any chance at a stable future.
“To even begin discussing any form of recovery for BiH, the essential precondition is the closure of the OHR, the departure of the occupier Schmidt, and the removal of all his decisions from the legal system,” Košarac said.
He warned that the OHR has spent the past 30 years continuously, deliberately, and systematically undermining the Dayton Peace Agreement, with the primary aim of weakening the constitutional position of Republika Srpska.
Košarac stated that the peak of this “absurd interventionism” is the conduct of what he described as a “failed German politician and self-proclaimed high representative,” Christian Schmidt.
“This occupier and coloniser has usurped domestic institutions and is brutally attacking democracy, the Constitution, and the democratic will of the Serb people in an openly anti-Dayton, unconstitutional, and unlawful manner,” Košarac told Srna.
He concluded that Schmidt is “the greatest international saboteur” and must leave BiH immediately so that the peoples of the country can freely negotiate their own future.
