Legal expert Ognjen Tadić stated that the true significance of the Dayton Peace Agreement is found in its original form, adding that its future must be determined by returning to its original interpretation.
“We are marking the third decade of the Dayton Peace Agreement with the very same questions that marked its first anniversary,” Tadić told Srna.
He noted that the key issue remains how long foreign actors intend to keep the OHR in place and continue governing through unlawful decisions.
Another unresolved question, even 30 years later, is how long political Sarajevo intends to persist with the idea of a unitary Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tadić said.
Ahead of the 30th anniversary of the Dayton Agreement, Tadić published two books on the subject — “Dayton Law” and “Dayton Politics”.
