Political Sarajevo continues its fight for Christian Schmidt. It seems the end is near when Bakir Izetbegović and Šefik Džaferović feel compelled to write to the UN Security Council — in the capacity of former members of the Presidency — said Republika Srpska’s member of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović.
“It is obvious that, in their desire for the OHR to keep undermining democracy and the will of the people in Bosnia and Herzegovina, they are becoming increasingly isolated — resorting to desperate moves. In any case, it is time for BiH to reject the harmful influence of foreign destabilizers and for democratic institutions to finally start doing their job. The positive thing is that more and more important actors in the world understand this,” Cvijanović stated on X.
