Airsoft clubs are increasingly replacing or compensating for so-called parallel jamaats, and many Wahhabi associations and proponents of that ideology have effectively turned these clubs into military para-jamaats, security expert Dževad Galijašević told SRNA.

Commenting on the invitation by the “Igman 35” club for adult men to join airsoft training that includes military-tactical movement and martial arts, Galijašević said these clubs conduct classic military training.
He explained that anyone trained to use this type of weapon system can easily handle real weapons as well — the only difference is live ammunition.
“This is exactly what is happening, and it represents a serious security threat. It is a problem of radical Islamism, and it is unfortunate that the EU fails to see how the identity of radical Islam manifests itself in various formats,” Galijašević said.
He added that such activities are also intended to spread fear among Christians in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Pointing to the religious component of the invitation issued by the “Igman 35” airsoft club, Galijašević described it as a message of militant Islamism, noting that the initiative is supported by SDA and SDP.
“This training, which is fundamentally military, sends a message to Bosniaks — that is, Muslims — toward further homogenization and, effectively, mobilization,” Galijašević stated.
He noted that individuals undergoing such training are often seen across Bosnia and Herzegovina, particularly in Una-Sana Canton and around Sarajevo, especially on Mount Igman.
These messages, he said, carry a religious connotation and reflect a sense of determination and confidence fueled by attacks on Republika Srpska conducted by the United Kingdom and Germany through Christian Schmidt.

Galijašević emphasized that these groups are no longer hiding but are acting publicly, encouraged by the current destabilization of Serbia through protests and student blockades.
A disturbing video was recently posted on the “Igman35” Facebook page, calling on adult men to join airsoft training that includes tactical movement, hiking, martial arts, shooting, and overnight stays outdoors in any weather.
The group cites its goals as “promoting good and preventing evil,” as well as supporting all institutions, agencies, associations, and individuals advocating for a unified state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
