Borac’s footballers successfully navigated their away match in Posušje, defeating the home side 2:0. Coach Vinko Marinović’s team deservedly claimed three points based on their overall performance.
The Banja Luka squad controlled most of the game, particularly in the second half when they created several excellent chances but failed to convert.
Luka Juričić headed just wide of the goal, while Miloš Jojić struck the crossbar. Borac even found the net, but Juričić’s goal was disallowed for offside.
When Borac players couldn’t score, Posušje’s own Luka Mikulić did it for them in the 78th minute, mistakenly sending the ball into his own net after a cross from David Vuković.
All doubts about the winner were erased by Luka Juričić, who capitalized on a good chance to score his eighth goal of the season.
In the closing moments, Borac goalkeeper Mladen Jurkas stood out with a brilliant save against David Mištrafović’s attempt.
