Dodik: Srpska will declare independence if its property is seized

At a special session of the Government of Republika Srpska, President Milorad Dodik stressed that the entity will immediately become an independent state if its property is touched.

Dodik emphasized that the new Government must find a way to resist what he called a Western concept.

“They want to take away Srpska’s property so it would not be solvent, because if it is not solvent, then it is not sovereign and is placed into a system of debt slavery. It is important to maintain full solvency, and I believe that will not be in question. Everything happening to Republika Srpska and to me personally is solely because of property and the attempt to seize it. Whoever has acted against Republika Srpska over the past 30 years has lost, while Srpska has survived. It will survive this period too—there is no doubt about that,” Dodik stated.

He underlined that independence is not a whim of Srpska, but a necessity to resist the unfair treatment directed against it.
