“We discussed various projects in the Republika Srpska, primarily the construction of the highway, which was the key topic of conversation with the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is very interested in the construction of the Belgrade-Sarajevo highway,” said Milorad Dodik, the President of Republika Srpska.
“We had a very complex and content-rich day, which began with a series of meetings with certain businessmen,” highlighted Dodik in Antalya, after meeting with Erdoğan.
Dodik emphasizes that there is a good solution, and it only remains to carry out certain procedures.
“The conditions offered here are very acceptable to us, and this procedure will have to be completed as soon as possible, so that implementation can begin. I also discussed certain aspects of agricultural cooperation and the political situation with Erdoğan. What is important for us is that we can work on road sections in the Republika Srpska without waiting for the Federation. We have a good agreement on its implementation,” stresses Dodik.
Regarding the political situation, Dodik mentioned that he discussed Bosnia and Herzegovina with Erdoğan, emphasizing that for the Republika Srpska, only a highly decentralized constitutional Bosnia and Herzegovina is acceptable.
“International agreements should be respected, and international intervention should cease,” Dodik notes.
Dodik also met with Sergey Lavrov, the Foreign Minister, where, according to Dodik, there were discussions on reaffirming the gas pipeline construction project.
