Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović met today in Sarajevo with Daniel Koski, the chargé d’affaires of the U.S. Embassy in BiH, to discuss the current political and economic situation in the country.
On this occasion, Cvijanović pointed out the harmful consequences of long-standing international interventionism, stressing that for progress and the revitalization of democracy in BiH it is crucial that decisions are made exclusively by domestic institutions.
In that context, she emphasized the importance of President Donald Trump’s concept that the United States will no longer participate in interfering in the internal affairs of other countries.
The meeting also covered possibilities for improving cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Cvijanović expressed full support for strengthening relations between Republika Srpska, BiH, and the United States.
