The president of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated that a referendum will be announced which will include a question on the legal and constitutional status of Republika Srpska, and will likely serve as one of the preludes to referendums to be held in the coming period.
Dodik emphasized that Republika Srpska is forced to defend its status in the only possible way, which is through the will of the people, and that this will be done “very gradually, calmly.”
- We will do it at the moment when we consider it necessary – Dodik said.
He highlighted that political measures issued by the Court of BiH will not be accepted or supported.
- We will continue to conduct our policies as we agreed, which is to announce a referendum that will undoubtedly state that we are against any elections, that these elections should be boycotted and rejected – Dodik stressed.
Dodik added that he regrets that the opposition did not respond to the call to form a government of national unity.
- They did not prove themselves worthy. Probably after this, they will again have their own opinion, but that is their matter and it shows how little they understand the processes or anything else – Dodik told ATV.
He noted that a session of the National Assembly will be held and a decision on holding a referendum will be made.
- The referendum will include a question that will undoubtedly relate to the legal and constitutional status of Republika Srpska and will probably serve as one of the preludes to referendums we will hold in the coming period concerning the status of Republika Srpska – Dodik said.
He emphasized that Republika Srpska cannot remain in BiH under the solutions imposed by Christian Schmidt, explaining that for the minimum stabilization of BiH, they must be eliminated, along with Schmidt himself.
As he explained, this is to prevent any further escalation of problems within BiH, but he added that he does not see readiness for that.
Dodik: Muslims tried to eliminate Serbs
The president of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, said that Muslim judges in BiH are only part of a system persecuting Christians in this region.
Dodik emphasized that, as a person who received a mandate from the people, he is tasked with interpreting the will of the people, which is threatened by Muslims, and that this threat stems from the fact that Serbs are Christians.
- Because we are Orthodox. They do not want to see us in existence. Neither Republika Srpska nor the Serbs. This is best seen in the position of Serbs who remained in the FBiH – Dodik said.
He stated that Republika Srpska must have clear forms of action and behavior in all of this.
Dodik pointed out that in BiH, one side, through an unconstitutional decision, tried to eliminate the other, in this case, Muslims who tried to eliminate Serbs.
- It is difficult for people to understand, but the Constitution states that if something is to be constitutionally transformed, it must be an agreement of both sides. The agreement regulated that the two sides are Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH /FBiH/. When FBiH eliminates Republika Srpska, it means that the Dayton Agreement no longer exists – Dodik said.
He stressed that their whole story about respecting the Dayton Agreement is a complete illusion, intended only to lead to the disappearance of the Serbs.
- It all began with the arrival of Michael Murphy /former US ambassador to BiH/, who together with Christian Schmidt specified that property must be taken from Republika Srpska and transferred to the level of BiH, and later delegitimize any existence of Republika Srpska – Dodik said.
He emphasized that the Constitutional Court of BiH, as it stands, is not a court of law but of politics, recalling that it previously decided that entities cannot manage property.
He also assessed that this was a signal that all alarms must be raised and that a fight against it is necessary.
- We did this so that then they would persecute us. Me, my associates, primarily, the former American administration through sanctions. Muslims did this using a foreigner’s decision, ignoring all civilizational achievements by accepting that through such decisions Muslims judge Serbs in BiH – Dodik said.
He emphasized that such a BiH cannot exist and that all those advocating for the preservation of Serb existence must rise against such intentions.
- They created a false legal basis for persecution of everyone. Now they will try with me, attempting to eliminate me. Once that passes, the hunt for everyone in Republika Srpska will be open. No official will dare speak or act for the essence of Republika Srpska – Dodik stressed.
He also noted that the EU lies, and that their efforts to sell some bizarre story of rule of law, which does not exist, threaten their legal legacy.
- The EU has lost freedom of movement, the story of rule of law and human rights because it deports a huge number of people, and they also lost the war in Ukraine. The EU has no leaders or resources, and the only thing left is to exert force in BiH and act as some kind of sheriff – Dodik concluded.
