Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó announced that he met today with the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, to reaffirm Hungary’s support for Srpska.
In a post on X, Szijjártó wrote that Hungary’s security interests rest on stability in the Balkans, noting that any foreign interference in the region’s internal affairs is harmful and dangerous.
“The will of the people must be respected, and questioning it threatens stability and peace. I met with Milorad Dodik today to confirm Hungary’s support,” Szijjártó stated.
President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik is visiting Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. Also accompanying him is the Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović.
