During last night’s football match between Hajduk and Istra at Split’s Poljud Stadium, which was delayed due to a storm, scandalous anti-Serb and anti-Serbia chants were heard.
According to Dalmatinski portal, Hajduk supporters chanted:
“Rain is falling, rain is falling, Serbia is falling apart; wind is blowing, wind is blowing, Croatia is expanding.”
The crowd also chanted: “Come on, come on, come on Ustashas”, followed by the infamous Ustasha salute: “For the homeland”, with the rest of the stadium responding: “Ready”.
These slogans, openly promoting hate and glorifying the Ustasha regime, drew sharp criticism across the region.
