Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković stated that the verdict against President Milorad Dodik has nothing to do with law or justice, but represents yet another blow to Republika Srpska.
He emphasized that this is an attack on the institution of the president of Republika Srpska.
“When you attack the institution of the president, you are attacking Republika Srpska. Therefore, we must protect our institutions—we will defend everything in accordance with the Constitution and the Dayton Agreement,” Višković said.
Once again, he called on everyone in Republika Srpska to stand united, regardless of party affiliation or any past disagreements.
“Let us unite and give our support to Republika Srpska,” Višković urged.
He stressed that Serb unity is a duty owed to those who sacrificed their lives for Republika Srpska.
“Just remember the 30,000 graves of the best sons of our state who gave their lives for Republika Srpska. Therefore, even if you don’t support a political leader at this moment, you owe it to them,” Višković added.
