An emotional and unique musical–poetic event titled Poetry and the Song of Life will be held on August 5 at the Cultural Center in Derventa.
The hosts of the evening will be Boris Režak, a well-known musician from Banja Luka, and Marko Milošević, one of the most prominent contemporary Serb poets. The audience will have the opportunity to enjoy a blend of music and poetry, a concept the authors have successfully presented across the region, regularly filling concert halls and cultural venues.
“Under the starry sky, in the heart of summer, the audience will be guided through a story of love, life, and dreams — through verses that stay with you and melodies that move the soul,” the event announcement states.
The repertoire has been carefully designed to offer the audience an authentic artistic experience that erases the boundaries between a concert and a poetic performance.
Režak will perform some of his most popular songs, while Milošević will lead the audience through a world of poetry that has received exceptional acclaim throughout the region.
Marko Milošević is the author of four poetry collections and has held more than 70 poetry evenings. His verses have been performed by numerous renowned actors from the former Yugoslavia.
Tickets, priced at 20 KM, are available at the box office of the Cultural Center Derventa.
