Music and dance to flood Banja Luka

The Banja Luka Tourist Organization is set to host the “Banja Luka Carnival” tomorrow—a major tourist attraction bringing vibrant atmosphere, music, dance, and carnival spirit to the city, the organization told SRNA.

As part of the carnival program, a formal reception will be held for members of the European Association of Carnival Cities, representatives of carnival groups from the region, as well as official patrons of the event.

The central part of the carnival begins at 1:00 p.m. at Krajina Square, while the carnival parade will start at 12:45 p.m. in front of the National Theatre of Republika Srpska and proceed along Gospodska Street to the square.

The Tourist Organization expects numerous groups from across the region, as well as guests from the European Association of Carnival Cities.

“The Banja Luka Carnival is a significant event that, in addition to its cultural and entertainment value, holds great tourist importance for the city of Banja Luka,” the organization stated.

The carnival is being held with the support of the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, the Ministry of Trade and Tourism of Srpska, the City Assembly and Tourist Organization of Banja Luka, and Dr. Vlado Đajić.
