Čavoški: Srpska should stop contributing to the BiH budget

Member of the Serb Academy of Sciences and Arts, Kosta Čavoški, stated that following the latest harmful decisions imposed by the illegitimate Christian Schmidt, the institutions, bodies, and leadership of Republika Srpska should seriously consider halting further payments into the budget of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“I believe this is extremely important because we are talking about finances,” Čavoški said.

He clarified that Schmidt’s actions represent an attempt to interfere in the electoral process in BiH and to inflict financial damage on Srpska. He reiterated that the institutions of Republika Srpska should disregard such unconstitutional decisions.

“According to the Constitution of BiH, Schmidt does not exist at all as a High Representative and is not authorized to make such decisions. Therefore, anything he does in this regard is impermissible. It’s nonsense—even under the so-called Bonn or whatever conclusions of the Peace Implementation Council,” Čavoški told SRNA.

Recently, Christian Schmidt imposed a decision in the case of the Slovenian company Viadukt, which envisions taking funds from excise tax revenues on the Single Account—from the portion belonging to Republika Srpska—and a decision requiring the Central Bank of BiH to secure funds for new technologies in the electoral process.
